A brief description of some activities
STD/HIV/AIDS Prevention Program
Now STD/HIV/AIDS is the world issue. Survey report of different National agencies revealed that it may take in epidemic in future if preventive measure is not taken in Bangladesh. So thinking of the future generation YASA is actively implement ting this program through motivational, arrangement of seminar and supply of necessary materials etc.
Campaign And Drive On Social Awareness
HIV/AIDS: This campaign make knowledgeable of the slum dweller people. They earn knowledge how HIV/AIDS spread and how that diseases can prevent.
We done campaign on infant infant health care and also supplied medicine.
Clean Dhaka-Green Dhaka: This slogan was the main theme for this campaign. By this awareness program people became motivated to clean the homestead and roadside. Dust bean use culture develop by this campaign. Also ornamental tree plantation activities became raise by this campaign. We done rally and saminer on Wold Environment Day.
Finance For Income Generating Activities And Rehabilitation (Figar)
YASA feels for Socio-Economic development of the poor group members. Employment and income earning opportunities should be created. But they have no capital and skills. So, YASA supports them with sees capital and skill training for undertaking small income generating projects like Agriculture, Livestock, Fisheries etc. business. Before financial support, YASA ensure necessary skill training for the same projects.

A description of YASA's contacts with other different national structures dealing with social welfare issues in Bangladesh
YASA is working with the following national structures for the overall development of Bangladesh :
Department of Youth Development : YASA is affiliated with this department and working to motivate, mobilize and train the youths for i) self employment projects, ii) income generating activities, iii) poverty alleviation programmes, iv) human resource development, v) voluntary social services and iv) youth leadership training etc.
Social Welfare Department : YASA has legal registration as a social welfare, voluntary and non-profit NGO from this department of the government of Bangladesh. Our joint programmes with this department are i) women's development, ii) dress making and embroidery training, iii) block batik printing, iv) disaster management, v) project management, vi) rural housing, vii) adult education, viii) fish, poultry and cattle farming and ix) awareness raising.
Department of Narcotics Control : YASA has got the affiliation of this department. Anti-drug movement and awareness campaigns are our main programme with this department. We are holding rallies, seminars, workshops and publish posters and booklets to aware people specially the children and youths about the bad affects of drug abusing and smoking.
Department of Environment : YASA is working as a partner organization of this department. We are campaigning to protect our environment from the pollution's and develop it through planting trees. We are trying to save the ecological balance. We organize rallies, seminars and workshops jointly with the department regarding the environmental issues and also publish posters and hand bills to aware the mass people of the country.
Health and Family Planning Departments : We are working jointly with this department to ensure the family planning and welfare, population education, child care, distressed women health care etc. We are also operating mobile clinics and free holiday clinics for the poor people.
Ministry of Agriculture : YASA maintains liaison and contact with the Ministry of Agriculture so that YASA can implement agriculture projects with relevance to the policy guide line of the government of Bangladesh.
National Youth Council of Bangladesh : As an active member organization of NYCB YASA is playing an important role in coordinating youth organizations and their various development activities properly.YASA has so many contacts with national and international NGOs, governmental and semi governmental organizations in the field of development activities and decision making process.
